Prince Charles has tested positive for the new coronavirus (COVID-19),Watch What Every Frenchwoman Wants Online Clarence House has confirmed.

The Prince of Wales, 71, has mild symptoms "but otherwise remains in good health," according to a Clarence House statement. Charles has been working from home over the past few days.

The Duchess of Cornwall has tested negative for coronavirus. The couple are self-isolating at home in Scotland, following UK government and NHS advice.

"The tests were carried out by the NHS in Aberdeenshire where they met the criteria required for testing," the statement added.

"It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks," it continued.

Prince Charles is Queen Elizabeth II's eldest child, and is therefore next in line to the British throne.

Following Charles' diagnosis, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Prince Charles last saw the Queen, 93, on the morning on 12 March. Buckingham Palace said in a statement to Sky News: "Her Majesty The Queen remains in good health."

"The Queen last saw the Prince of Wales briefly on 12 March and is following all the appropriate advice with regard to her welfare. We will not be commenting further," the statement continued.
