The long-awaited Stark reunion isn't going too well, is it?
Jon Snow and Sansa are butting heads, Arya's sniping at Sansa, and the less said about Bran the better.
SEE ALSO: 36 of the most memorable 'Game of Thrones' one-liners so farObviously a lot of this is being orchestrated by Littlefinger, but some of it -- Arya's recent comments about Sansa staying in their parents' chambers, for instance -- are rooted in their age-old sibling rivalry.
As Redditor nebulous_obsidian points out in the following post, though, Arya is actually giving Sansa a hard time over nothing in this case:
Yep: it's an easily forgotten snatch of dialogue, but Jon Snow was actually the one that arranged for Sansa to stay in Ned and Catelyn's former chamber. He tells her in the final episode of Season 6, and she actually protests and says he should have the room.
Jon insists, though:
Original image has been replaced. Credit: Mashable The problem is, Arya hasn't seen Sansa develop as a character like we have. The two of them haven't seen each other in years, and they don't know the full extent of the ordeals the other has been through.
Obviously Arya has developed massively as a character, but Sansa is arguably the one who's changed the most: she's gone from being selfish and naive to strong, determined, and incredibly resourceful.
Littlefinger is hoping they won't reconcile their differences: he's trying to drive a wedge further between them.
If the Starks are going to survive, though, they'll have to find a way to see each other for who they are now, and not who they were when they were still children.
